  1. Gardens

    Visit Jardin Majorelle and the Musée Yves Saint Laurent in the morning. Book a hammam in the afternoon, then dine on a rooftop at sunset.

  2. The Medina

    See the Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Madrasa, then explore the souks with a good guide. Have dinner in a riad courtyard.

  3. Into the Atlas

    Take a driver into the Ourika valley or up to Imlil for lunch with mountain views, returning for the evening.

Marrakech Menara (RAK)

Menara Airport is close to the city. Transfers to the Medina or Hivernage typically take 15–25 minutes.

Much of the Medina is closed to cars, so hotels arrange porters from the nearest drop-off point.

How to travel

Private driver and 4×4

A driver for the Atlas valleys and the Agafay desert, where local knowledge matters more than horsepower.

Why not a car? The Medina is largely car-free. For the Atlas and the desert, a private driver who knows the roads is the better choice.
